Greetings Doc
I saw some cooking recipes including the use of baking soda. Would you counsel against it?

Hi, Marty from Almond, Hope you're doing well! Got some bloodwork back and the magnesium score was 1.8 but the normal range says 1.7 to 2.4. So that would make it on the low side. Whats your thoughts? Should I take any supplements? Next question, my wife's fingernails are developing ridges from the tip of the nail to the cuticle (6 out of 10 nails) Should there be any concern? What causes this condition? Thanks for all you do!

Hello, this is Gracie from Chicago. I suffer with chronic postnasal drip and very dry mouth not so much during the day but at night, especially. I cannot sleep on my side and because I sleep on my back I guess I sleep with my mouth open. I tried to use a chin strap, but it didn’t work to keep my mouth closed at night. any other suggestions?

Dr G, I keep thinking about the notion that a cold is the cure. If someone is not feeling well, is there a way to know that it is an internal imbalance versus a bug? P.S I’m curious—have you had the opportunity to apply the hands-on healing techniques with others yet?

I’m a 51-year-old male athlete in overall good health although the regular blood panel has my cholesterol a little high. In December 2023, my PSA score was 7.5 and has gone up to 11.66. For the last couple months, I’ve had a dull ache in my right testicle. It isn’t constant. (it’s very mild, hasn’t gotten worse and may only be some niggle from running) I’ve also had a bit of dribble after urination; however, this is nothing new and has been something I always remember happening even as a kid. Several of the males in my family have been treated for prostate cancer including my dad, but none of them have been diagnosed until they were well into their 60s. Should I see a regular Urologist? Mike Filip said you would call him a “knuckle head” but recommended extra selenium and the Prostate Health from Good Herbs— I’m already taking the Youngevity protocol you recommend and doing my best with the 12 bad foods. I do have an appointment scheduled for April 23 with a urologist, and I would also like guidance on questions to ask.

Hey Dr. G! Checking back again this week on the skin stuff. Just wanted to express my immense gratitude towards your work and your mission in naturopathic medicine - I received your book and I'm enjoying it very much (it's wicked good). Latest update this week is significant resolve both externally and internally so fingers crossed it stays this way! Without your help I think I would have still been significantly struggling. One quick question I got for ya tonight is if you think the probiotics can cause some bloat and abdominal pains? Last few days I had some of that going on - today is much better actually but curious if while the probiotics do their thing it could create some discomfort at times?

Hi Doc, Sarge here! I’ve got a strange issue that recently started. About 1 1/2 weeks ago I started experiencing acute dyspnea / shortness of breath. Details below if you want them, or just comment. It seems like it might be either environmental or exposure given the sudden onset and that it seems to improve slightly when I’m out in fresh air. Last night it was bad enough that just waking from the living room to the kitchen (about 25 ft.) left me panting. Pulse and BP are normal (for me: 72-80 / 118/80). Oxygen saturation runs between 88 - 98 between exertion and rest. At the moment I’m feeling pretty good except for an occasional cough. Currently I’m taking Healthy Brain and Heart Pak, extra EFAs, D-Stress, Ultimate Niacin Plus, ProCardio FX, ProJoint FX, Gluco Gel, GH Respiratory Support, Heart Support and just got Hypothalamus Support and Adrenal Support. I’ve also been using homeopathic Hepar sulphuris which has helped somewhat with the cough. Any suggestions….?

This is SuzyQ, Doc, I am going through a trial! It started at the end of Feb. when I was starting to do Dr. Joanne Conoways' Flora Detox Program. After about 10 days on the program, I came down with an angry rash that started on the front of my body above my breast, left shoulder, and then also on my back and moving up the back of my neck! Nothing like this has ever happened to me before! There was a lot of pain involved! After several days, the rash started weeping! I have talked to Dr. Conoway, and she said she has never heard of such a violent reaction! I have also talked to Dr. Wallach, and he helped me also, and told me to take some Aleve for the pain plus CM cream and some extra Hair, skin, and nails, plus Rebound and I-26 a couple times a day. The rash has diminished some, but it seems to remain on the back of my neck, and it still hurts! It feels warm to the touch and the pain is like a burning pain all day long! Is there anything that you would recommend me to take? From everyone that I have talked to, this appears to be a digestive issue, and I am blaming it on Dr. Joanne's program, so I stopped it! I was hoping this would be a good way to restore my Gut Flora, but apparently her program is not for me. What do you think happened here, and why does the rash seem to be lingering on the back of my neck? It's very unsightly! I remember you say in one of the last chats that healing a a skin issue is a marathon and not a sprint. I have to agree with you, because this has been a real tough ordeal since the end of Feb! How much longer will this take? Also, do you know the best way to keep potatoes fresh? I want to keep mine from sprouting, and now they are saying online to put them in the frig. They used to say not to store potatoes in the frig, because the cold temps were thought to produce acrylamide-forming sugars, but now they are saying that just isn't true, and you can store your potatoes in the frig. I need your advice on this. Also, I am still looking for the explanation in your "new content" on your website, about the results of the blood blood-work. I need a copy, please! Also, did you get the email that I sent to Bob about my girl-friend out of state? I didn't want to write all that in the chat, and she is desperate for some help! She has been through so much! She needs help very soon! My heart goes out to her!
My husband (59 years old) has a pain just under his rib in the middle and towards left side. It hurts when he lays flat and a shooting pain when he gets up. (He had one dose of J & J...UGH). Dr Glidden....Aren't we all getting zapped by all of the microwave frequencies due to the 5G/GWEN Towers? What are thoughts on protecting ourselves from the radiation?

Good evening, I am on the 90 for Life, and I have had feet, ankle, and lower leg swelling. I was suspecting too much calcium from the supplements, have you known the 90 for Life to cause swelling? I have been diagnosed with Lymphodema and venous nsufficiency. I understand and they go hand in hand. What naturopathic protocol, if any, do you recommend to manage?

Good evening! MNSara I have two lady friends in their mid 70s who both have had “polio”, NOT the vax. They complain of pain all the time. One uses walking sticks to ambulate. The other tries this chiropractor and natural medicine and then another. I haven’t sat with them regarding the 90 yet. I’m wondering what protocol you would suggest besides the Foundation Pak. And if you have a homeopathic remedy in mind, that’d be fantastic! MANY THANKS!

I have vertigo that started 11days ago. It has slowly gotten better with the use of the CM cream in the ears. However, I still have issues with the room spinning when I first lay down if I don’t use the CM cream and even when I use the CM cream, I feel the room spinning when I turn side to side while in bed. Can you please help me With something else alongside the cream? Thank you for your help Dr. Glidden.

Is there any help for plantar fasciitis? I've had it for about 2 months. Doing hydro therapy twice a day and stretching. 1st steps in AM is a 9 pain level, calms down to 4 durig day, evening up to 9. I'm taking 90 EN, gluco gel, selenium, both EFA's, GH heart & circulatory (primary goal is to heal severe mitral valve prolapse). I don't hold a chiropractic adjustment very well and was wondering if the ligamentous laxity could also be a problem with my foot. 77yo. Thanks for your help. Love your book.

Brother had interstitial lung disease and has a ton of coughing...what could help the cough. I have had issues with a strange eye crossing/blurry vision for the past 7 or 8 months. I noticed it comes on when I exercise and it's when my heart rate is at roughly 120 BPM. Is there anything I can do?

Dear Dr. G Carla from FL here. Pls forgive I have been unavailable during the weekly Q/A. But got here tonight. May I update you.? I have faithfully been continuing all recommendations. That means 90E, avoid 12BF, and have added microbiome, Gluco-Gel, + Immortalium + Nature Pearl. But still there is some perineal itch. A little different than before. Notably seems tb more like a Superficial labial irritation exacerbated after urination. And maybe it has migrated from a central spot (which was there years) to now on labia and mostly disturbed w urination. I am not sure, but it seems so. Hence, after urination always good rinsing. If I go longer periods without cleansing (rinsing) the perineum it is really irritated. And I do not wear underwear for years. This has helped greatly overall. And, regarding stool… I continue with Yerba Prima fiber as you recommended. And, I have added back in the natural laxative called BioSchwartz Colon cleanse. Only one capsule instead of 2 (sennacide) but BM is horribly delayed if I omit that. Finally, I suspect the issue may include poor motility… Not sure but probably. As a result, I continue with one time weekly Colonic. If things get rough, I’ll get a second in that week. Overall, I do not think this has resolved… I think I have just found a way to naturally manage the matter. However, it has also, evolved as I have explained best I can. Kindly advise.
Good evening Dr. Glidden! Hope this message finds you well. I was just curious if there is a way to remove cysts and excess mucus from a fatty Pancreas? This is Nina from Cali :) The cysts and fatty pancreas are disrupting my capacity to digest and making me diabetic...

Hi Dr. Glidden, Millie from S/E WI here. Thank you for the recommendation of Chamomile for our granddaughter with the non stop coughing. Two days and she was able to sleep comfortably through the night. (Therefore this Grammie also.) I'm so thankful for your years of dedication in learning how the body works, and faithfully teaching others!
