Dr. Glidden’s Health Recovery Protocol For Those Diagnosed With Fibrocystic Breast Disease.

MD Cause: Unknown – probably genetic ;-)

MD Rx: Pain meds; Anti-Inflammatory meds

ND Cause: EFA deficiency, Selenium deficiency.

Discussion: Inflammation lurks at the heart of every illness, and this is no exception. Women don’t get fibrosities in their breasts because they have breasts. Fibrosities in the breasts are akin to scar tissue. They have developed presumptively because of chronic low-grade inflammation occurring in a body that is afflicted with a weak Fire Department. Since EFAs and Selenium are both necessary for a healthy Fire Department, then we give those in therapeutic doses on top of the 90 EN. Caffeine, chocolate and black tea have been shown to exaggerate the symptoms of this illness, so it is best that they are avoided along with the 12 Bad Foods.

My Rx: In addition to the 90 EN and the elimination of the 12 Bad Foods:

  • Selenium: 1 bottle per 100 pounds per month. Do not get more than 2 bottles per month, regardless of your weight. The dose is 3 caps per bottle per day between meals. If during the intake of selenium at these dosages you experience fishy or garlicky breath, brittle nails or unusually dry hair then cut the dose in half. For 7 days. If those symptoms persist then fall all the way back to 1 bottle per month.

  • Ultimate EFA+: 1 bottle per 100 pounds per month. 3 caps per bottle per day taken with food.
