Health Recovery Protocol

What to do to attempt to make yourself healthy if you have been diagnosed with:

Fibromyalgia

MD Cause: Unknown – probably genetic ;-)

MD Rx: Pain meds; Anti-Inflammatory meds; Anti-Depressants

ND Cause: My understanding of fibromyalgia comes directly from Dr. Wallach and the work that he did as a veterinarian. There is an illness in animals – especially sheep – called "White Muscle Disease." An animal suffering from White Muscle Disease experiences tremendous amounts of pain when they try to exert a skeletal muscle in their body. Standing, walking, or running is difficult if not impossible for these animals. The veterinarian fix for this problem is quick and simple – the intramuscular injection of the trace mineral selenium, usually in the form of sodium selenite. Within a few hours of the injection, the animal is able to stand up and move around normally without pain or discomfort. Dr. Wallach is of the opinion that white muscle disease in livestock is the same thing as fibromyalgia in humans. It is caused by a deficiency in the trace mineral selenium.

My Rx: In addition to the 90 EN and the elimination of the 12 Bad Foods:

  • Selenium: 1 bottle per 100 pounds per month. Do not get more than 4 bottles per month, regardless of your weight. The dose is 3 caps per bottle per day between meals. If during the intake of selenium at these dosages you experience fishy or garlicky breath, brittle nails or unusually dry hair then cut the dose in half for 7 days. If those symptoms persist then fall all the way back to 1 bottle per month.

  • Cell Shield RTQ: 1 bottle if 200 pounds or less. 2 bottles per month if over 200 pounds. Take in divided doses. If you get dizzy or lightheaded with a profuse sweat, which is a side-effect of this supplement, then stop taking this completely.
