Discussion: I have a Naturopathic colleague in Portland Oregon. His name is Darren Ingels.  His entire naturopathic practice is the treatment of Lyme disease.  He uses very complicated treatment strategies which include antibiotics, herbal treatments, intravenous herbal treatments, sound therapy, and colon hydrotherapy.  If you are suffering from Lyme disease, have followed my advice and received no noticeable benefit, then it may be prudent for you to take a trip to Portland and see Dr. Ingles.

I am of the opinion that Lyme disease is a militarized form of a very old illness which was brought into the modern age in an infectious disease laboratory run by the US military on Plum Island in Long Island Sound (approximately 9 miles south as the crow flies from Lyme Connecticut). Whether this is true or not is mostly irrelevant as far as the treatment goes. Traces of Lyme disease have been found in Egyptian mummies, but it wasn’t until the early 70s in the United States that Lyme disease showed up. Then in the 80s, it exploded. By the way - the government research center on Plum Island was experimenting with tick borne diseases.

The trend in conventional medicine is to treat Lyme disease initially with very strong antibiotics for long periods of time. I am of the opinion that antibiotic treatment for Lyme disease is suppressive and not curative. I am also aware that I might be wrong about this. Colon hydrotherapy and homeopathic treatment are mandatory here. You need to find a local homeopathic doctor who has had at least 10 years of experience.
