Casey in Utah, Have you ever taken the 90 and mixed it in with your food?. Instead of drinking the 90,,, I’m eating it. Is there anything bad about doing that?  I only ask because I’m put arthydex, efa’s and sweeteze in my dogs food so I’m thinking I can do it for my food too?

This  is SuzyQ, I am still dealing with the shingle pain and am trying to answer your questions. 1.The  shingle pain I am feeling is constant burning. 2.Where do I feel it? The back of my neck, on my left shoulder blade and back area. It feels better when I take a warm shower or put C.M. cream on it. 4.What  makes it worse? It feels worse when I lay on it. 5.I can't think of anything that comes along with the ride, just a constant burning pain all day long! I am on the 90 and have ordered D-stress, but I will get it tomorrow. I would appreciate your help with this, as this shingle pain has been going on since the end of March of this year. Would this help to take it? I also have developed a cold in the last week or so. I also have sinus issues, from a rhinoplasty I had years ago, with mucous, scabs, and blood in my sinus area'. Someone suggested taking NAC. (N-Accytle Cysteine 3-4 times a day. Would this be helpful? And do you think my immune system is compromised since I have this continuous shingle pain and now a sinus cold? I have not looked into the type of  balloon therapy treatment that you suggested a few years back, because it is not done in my area, and you also said it is very painful. Have you ever heard of Micro-Current Therapy? I heard it may help me with my sinuses. What else would you suggest for the shingle pain and my condition?  I am  75 years old. I do have to admit I am not getting enough sleep, which may have a lot to do with the problem! Thanks for any help that you can give me. This is getting really hard to deal with! Also, have you heard of a Navage Treatment, and would it help my sinus's?

I was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia years ago. Whenever I eat or drink anything (even water), it causes me to belch excessively. I am not swallowing air when I eat or drink. And this happens even if I sip water. If I lay on my left side, the belching increases. I try to minimize the overall effect of the it but it's quite annoying and can be embarrassing. Is there anything I can do to mitigate or resolve this issue? Thank Dr. G. Love these Q&As - I learn so much. Angela

Betsy Asks about thrombocytosis where blood platelets are excessively high and rising. Is this an EFA deficiency or a bone nutrient deficiency or both; and can a simple solution to excess, (while recovering), be platelet donation at a blood bank?  Is labeling thrombocytosis  as "hyper-thrombocytosis" kind of redundant? Is homeopathy an option?Second question if you have time. My husband experienced very high eye pressure and lost vision in the lower half of one eye. He was diagnosed with acute angle closure. He has been taking 90EN, extra EFAs, Selenium, vision support and Circulatory and Nerve Support, and sometimes RTQ. Should he add Muscadine grape seed or Z-Radical? Is there a homeopathy for nerves for this situation? Thank you very much for all you do!

Hello, this is Gracie from Chicago. I would like to know your view on visectomies since you are against surgeries. Also the colchicum did not work.

Diane Sauls: From Blairsville, GAl. One morning I immediatly noted that something was not right in my head? Then, I noticed that my memory was not quite the same. Any thoughts?

Dr G, I’ve developed a psoriasis-like rash and am wondering if chronic stress could be a contributing factor, even though I generally feel I manage stress well. Do you have any tips to reduce stress that I may not be aware of that could be causing skin issues? P.S How do you know if someone is a candidate for a heavy metal detox?

Great news! Your recommendation for my 3 year old son with chronic constipation worked!!!! On 10/28, you suggested 1 pill of Sulphur 30c daily for 5 days. We did it for 7, and he was pooping each day with the consistency changing from mushy/loose to more of a solid. He went daily for 8-9 days then didn’t go this past Saturday. I thought Sulphur would help again so I gave him 1 pill Sunday and he went 10 mins later. The last 3 days he’s had 1 pill each day and pooped within 30 mins of each dose. Since we’re having this success, should I continue 1 pill daily and if so, for how long? THANK YOU so much for your help. What a relief we all feel as he’d been struggling with this for the last 8 months. This week he's getting a bunch of small, mushy amounts out and last week they were more solid larger. Just wondering about the consistency and how to have him go larger solid more often.

Welcome back Dr. Glidden. Chris, your private patient in Maine has been taking Causticum 1m two times a day, two pills each time for over a week. We read that nerves, when they regenerate can cause sharp pains. He has been getting random sharp pains in his left leg. To test the theory he stopped taking the Causticum yesterday and today. Do nerves cause pain when they are healing? For how long should he continue taking the Causticum 1M? Thank you very much. Chris Robinson. The pains may also be due to the hip surgery that he had on Nov 2. I have a question regarding my upcoming surgery to remove old implants. A week and a half ago I used a pure citrus solvent made from orange peels cut with 75 percent Pure Tung Oil, both from the green store. I tested a small amount in a well ventilated room and wore an N95 mask, gloves, and goggles.  I felt dizzy, vomited, and felt like my brain was inflamed for several days.  When I moved my head, it felt like my brain needed a little time to move with my head. I also felt nauseous for a few days. I am fine now, with a very slight headache that comes and goes. My surgery will be two weeks from the onset of these symptoms. Should I postpone my surgery? My implants are leaking silicone so I do want to get them out asap.

If someone has bone- on-bone with no cartilage left in the knee do to RA, is it possible to rebuild it?

Hi, this is Jeff Tucker. I have an appointment with you next Tuesday but until then im wondering if there's anything I should or shouldn't be doing until then. Last Wednesday the 12th I went to ER with shortness of breath. They made me pee for hours which fixed the breathing problem. They did an Ultrasound & Angiogram at another hospital and they said I had 1 clogged (artery) the other 2 were 55 to 60% and my heart push rate was 15 to 20 %. Anything I can do to help until I talk to you next week?

Howdy Dr. G. Good to see you back! I have a question about omega 3s. I've been taking the Youngevity EFAs but I'm curious if another good option is Karlsson Cod Liver Oil from Norway provides 1,100 mg of omega-3s. Your thoughts please? Thank you. The Yougevity EFA Plus product has sunflower oil added to it. Isn't that a bad food?

Good night doc. What would you recommend for an injury to the inside part of the right knee, the tendon of the knee, which is swollen slightly. It feels stiff after sitting for a while or after getting up from laying down and hurts if walking for a long period of time. Other than that it bends freely. Also a friend of mine had a sharp pain in his right eye. It lasted for about 2 seconds and only happened once. He was experiencing by a cold sore outbreak at the time. Are they related? What is your recommendation?
