Hello Dr G, At the end of my appointment yesterday, you suggested I research the side effects of my thyroid med - levothyroxine. You were correct in that almost all the symptoms on my symptom chart are listed as side effects of the prescription. Would it be better to ask my MD to adjust the dosage (I know that takes about 4 weeks to adjust) or let the homeopathy medicine do it’s work? My thyroid was removed in 2009.

Thank you for your help, Sharon L in Michigan

Hey Doc, it's Max from the Dominican Republic. What is your take on semen retention and its benefits? Is there truly a link between holding onto semen and prostate cancer? On another note, do you recommend taking protein powder and creatine as supplements for muscle growth? I don't take them yet, but I have heard both are hard on the kidneys... is this true? By the way, I started taking the 90 ENs three days ago - according to your advice and noticed my urine has turned a fluorescent greenish yellow in color, almost like my car's engine coolant! Is this normal to see while I'm on the supplements? Thanks, Dr. G.

Good evening Dr Glidden, I am the person with the plantar fasciitis, as you suggested I took the ledum 1m every other day for 9 days and I just finished the 9 days and my feet have started to feel better but they are not back to where we were before when I was taking the ledum 200ck twice a day every other day (you wanted me to start taking hypericum 4xday on alternate days of the ledum. We did not make it this far as we thought I may be having a side effect to the ledum. So we stopped the ledum to see and it turns out I was not having a side effect from the ledum). The ice bath cause me severe pain my feet when I put them in the ice water, feels like a sharp stabbing pain that radiates up my feet to my ankles and into my calves. The following morning I noticed that my left foot (with one with the toe that was messed up due to the shot from the doctor) hurts even more, causing extreme sensitivity to the top of my toe by the middle knuckle (sensitivity to the slightest touch), and the ball of my foot will have a constant dull ache that worsens with the longer that I stand or walk. It takes me about 2 days to recover from the ice bath. So I have currently stopped icing them. What makes it better, the ledum and I have been doing some toe stretches and foot and calf exercises. Also got the results of my Carroll test in and I am sensitive to all things potato and potato like. I stopped eating potato in all forms about 1 day after getting the results in (cutting out all things potato was a lot harder than I expected as it is in so many things) and I have to say that I do not feel so inflamed all the time and I have not had a headache since cutting out potato. Thank you so much for actually listening and suggesting I take that test, so far it has been a game changer and it has only been about 2 weeks!

Hello Dr Glidden, a customer is asking what of their supplements can they take during the 2 fast days they do each week. They have the Healthy Start pack, Minerals and Ocutiv. Another customer had a very traumatised childhood, has suffered PTSD from an early age. She now has Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, Gastoparesis, IBS, Scoliosis (from childhood), ADHD. She takes a low dose Naltrexone 4.25mg per day and uses CBD/THC oil for pain. What would you recommend please?

Greetings, Doc, I’ve been doing one meal a day, usually dinner, about five days a week, and honestly, the difference has been remarkable. The biggest win so far is that skipping lunch completely eliminates that midday crash. My focus stays razor sharp all day. Meanwhile, I watch my colleagues get groggy and half-comatose after breakfast or lunch, and I’m just cruising with steady attention and mental clarity. The one thing I do rely on, though, is a very strong cup of coffee or tea in the morning, and I do sweeten it. The caffeine noticeably boosts my focus and blunts hunger to the point where I’m not truly hungry until late evening. My main question is this: does the sweetened caffeine meaningfully interfere with the benefits of fasting? Am I undermining the metabolic advantages by having that morning boost, or is the overall structure still sound? And beyond that, is there anything else you would recommend to even amp up the mental energy during the fast? I would really appreciate your insight.

30:30

Thank you Dr. Glidden for your insight and all you do. My question is - after using the 90 Essentials, EFAs, Minerals and OsteoFX for 8 months and I feel good, is it wise to decrease the dosages?

33:40

I have taken Tangy Tangerine, Plant Minerals, EFAs, Osteo drink, micro biome, probiotics for five months now after a hospitalisation due pancreatitis (no known cause). Should I continue with all of these, or, now cease the priobiotic/micro biome? Should I now take the parasite cleanse? I still have intermittant heartburn/gastritis at night. I follow 12 bad foods. Thank you Rose, Australia

Last week I asked you about lumps that have formed on both my feet, in the arch. I’ve done the Fluoricum acidic 30C 2 pellets 2 X daily for one week ice cold water 3 minutes twice a day Moderately better. On the Reflexology chart they are right where it shows kidneys. What are your thoughts on reflexology being accurate?

Hello, this is Gracie from Chicago .been taking oil of oregano caps and killer biotic and a special probiotic. I just recently found out from a friend that I should not be taking oil of oregano at the same time with the Probiotic and killer biotic because the oil of oregano is killing off the probiotic and killer biotic I am taking. I was taking all three to fix my gut health, which I’m still suffering from. I also take milk thistle 500 mg and a turmeric supplement separately for other reasons, I know you don’t believe in isolated nutrition, so I wanted your opinion on this.

Katie from WI. Hi Dr. G, thank you for posting the nosode info. Can you share the name of the homeopathic doctor in AZ that you mentioned that uses nosodes in his practice? Thank you.

Just to clarify, what is recommended amount of plant derived minerals per day? I did read that they are in tangy(300mg). I was comparing the amount on the bottle to what is in tangy 2.5 and Plant derived minerals (600mg). Just want to make sure I am not taking too much. Thanks Doc, John Matthew

Greetings Doc; Paul fm Fredericksburg here... Just a personal anecdote: I find organic Lion's Mane mushroom powder / or capsules to be quite exceptional in aiding alertness and memory (which is a help in one's 7th decade ;o). Thank you for your service!
