Betsy Asks: Could you please explain how a Carroll Blood test determines a sensitivity to a food even when that food has not been consumed in 6 or 8 months? Why is there a need to separate fruit and additional sugar by 4 to 8 hours? Thanks and Merry Christmas PS, I see that the FDA restricts NDs from discussing the Carroll Blood test and that Canada has approved the test!

Good evening, Dr. Glidden. Matthew from Florida here. On the 90, avoiding the 12. Always a pleasure. Rookie me… still struggling with one of one of the 12 bad food rules about no oil in a bottle. Now, I have cut those out (literally all bottled oils went in the trash) just when they come as ingredients to food is where I may be vastly over-thinking this. For example, foods I’ve looked at: Pasta sauces, organic nuts, organic baked chips, even some cheese spreads have various oils as ingredients. How should I be thinking of these or should I be seeing “oil as an ingredient” as death itself, lol? I’m committed to doing this right. Secondly, you’ve got me back to not worrying about UV anymore. Thank heavens for the relief, but as the universe and nature have it, I’m in an office during all Vitamin D producing hours of the sun (office job). To my bloodwork, by Vitamin D levels are very low (25-hydroxyvitamin D3: 33 ng/mL). How could I get vitamin D most naturally generated to raise my bloodwork? I take it weekend exposure isn’t enough. As always; thank you for all your insights, doc.

Dr G, I work on the computer for many hours a day, and I've been getting pain in my right and left forearms due to using the mouse and typing so much. It is from overworked muscles, and it feels better when I apply pressure to them. Do you have a homeopathic remedy that can help? P.S Last week I mentioned stem cell therapy, and you stated you were not a fan of it. I was meaning to ask if a supplement or natural therapy could naturally increase the body's capacity to make its own stem cells, would that be a good thing? Also, what do you think about Hyland's PRID drawing salve? Thank you!

Want to let you know my blood pressures been stabilized 2 days after taking sepia. Tomorrow is last day taking this. I don’t expect but, If blood pressure rises again I should go back on sepia? Another question, I been trying to figure it out what triggered hypertension this time. I been on bad diet since Thanksgiving day and been taking 3 different good herbs liquid tinctures. Since I had hypertensions in the path I wanted to strengthen my heart, kidney, and liver. I believe good herbs has alcohol and that is what triggered it. That’s my thinking.

Since I can’t take good herbs liquid tinctures would you recommend other supplements for heart, kidney, and liver support? All I can say, we are so very fortunate to know you. Thank you for all you do.

Good evening! I’m new here, work as a registered nurse and completely agree with the ND perspective. I was introduced to you by my brother, “Matthew from Florida” - I’ve been on the 90 for two months, and off the 12 (mostly) for one month (working on it). I was looking at your Rx’s for two big concerns of mine: Seasonal Allergies, and Asthma - and have a few questions. On the Asthma Rx, you recommended that we add the Muscadine Grape Seed extract, 2 bottles per 100 pounds a month. When I look at Youngevity’s website, I see two options: Premium Muscadine Grape capsules for $33, or the Premium Muscadine Grape Extract liquid for $300. As that last one is very expensive for my current budget, are there any known downsides to using the cheaper capsules? I also planned on adding the Good Herbs Respiratory Support, acute dosing (from your book, Attempt a Cure). Secondly, out of curiosity… as Youngevity’s Beyond Osteo FX contains Plant Based Minerals, I’m curious if we’re just adding the bottle of Plant Based Minerals just to ensure more adequate dosing of those minerals. Thank you very much for your time. I appreciate you greatly.

I hope you're well. This is Alexis from Fort Lauderdale. I wanted to discuss the treatment plan you suggested for the dryness on my right toe. Following your advice, I've scheduled 5 more sessions of colon hydrotherapy. During my appointment today, I opted for an additional liver detox treatment. The process involved the technician applying an ointment to my stomach, followed by placing a pad and a blanket over it before starting the session. Post-treatment, I've noticed my complexion becoming clearer and my face gaining more color, which is encouraging. I'm curious about the mechanism behind this liver detox ointment. How does an external application on the stomach contribute to liver detoxification? I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide some insight into how this process works, and whether it's a recognized method for supporting liver health. I'm considering whether to include this liver detox option in my remaining four sessions. However, the additional cost of $40 per session is quite significant, so I'm weighing its benefits. In your medical opinion, would you recommend continuing with the liver detox treatment for all sessions? Is there a substantial added benefit, or would one session suffice?

Hi Doc - do you have any suggestions for a friend who accidentally got a speck of Tide laundry detergent in his eye and it has been painful for three days. The MDs keep running tests but he said his other eye is now in pain from the bright light tests the MDs have done. His symptoms since this happened are eye pain and blurry vision. My second question: Is there a homeopathic remedy for a colicky baby? The baby screams for several hours per day. She is two months old.

Is it true that if you have a root canal to get it removed as soon as possible and where and who to get it done right? and that it has tremendous dangers to your health?

I have a client in his 70s. Has a defibrilator pacemaker type device installed. He is concerned that the 90 EN will interfere with it. Also... cardiologist is giving him a hard time because he refuses ELIQUIS blood thinner because it's expensive and it nearly killed his sister, so his goal was to use fish oil. He stopped fish oil supplements to try healthy brain and heart pak... he is also having some diarhea in the AM after taking the morning EFAs and morning Tangy... so just needing to reassure him as he changes nutrition plan. I told him to half the dose to start slowly.

QUESTION #2... different person... has extremely red left eye. Several doctor appts later, he is put on Naproxin and Pepsid for SCLERITIS and eye inflammation and UVEitis. He is wondering if there's an alternative to the naproxin and what to do about the painful red eye. Redall around the top of the eye ball including under the lid

QUESTION 3 - husband is on the 90. He is having trouble raising left arm above shoulder height and using it. Started out thinking he'd slept on it wrong. He has history of stroke on left side, but this didn't come with stroke. Started about a month ago. I'm afraid rotator cuff.

Barbara Fake Boca (Miami), Good to see you Dr. Glidden. In your experience is sweating or exercising good to expel toxins and fat? Would it be a good short cut to do steam saunas? Wouldn't that get the toxins out faster in your opinion? Also is it detrimental to do a lot of steam saunas? Dehydration etc. I take the plant derive minerals like you say.

Alexis again Doctor...I've recently delved into some discussions by various medical professionals on YouTube, and one topic, in particular, has caught my attention – the health benefits of kefir. One MD, with over 30 years of research, highlighted how kefir introduces a substantial amount of good bacteria into the digestive system. I've started incorporating whole milk kefir into my diet a few times a week and have noticed some positive changes, particularly in my complexion, which seems healthier and more radiant the next day. This experience has led me to ponder a couple of questions: 1. Health Benefits of Kefir: In your professional opinion, what are the health benefits of consuming kefir? Do you endorse its regular consumption as part of a healthy diet? 2. Survival of Bacteria in Acidic Environment: Considering the acidic nature of the stomach, how do the bacteria in kefir survive long enough to be beneficial? Is there a risk that they might be destroyed before providing any health advantages, or does kefir have a mechanism that ensures the bacteria’s efficacy? I value your expertise on this matter and would greatly appreciate your insights.

Good evening Doc; Paul fm Fredericksburg here. For the edification of all, I read several articles on Spirulina and its positive effects on health; two of which are the mitigation of rhinitis allergies, and normalizing cholesterol abnormalities in the body. My own experimentation has proven the former, rather dramatically, but I had no cholesterol issues, so I could not "test" that aspect. Thank you for your service to us all!

Hi! What causes acne on the face and back of a teenage girl? I have her on the 90 and she has been gluten free for 2 weeks, which is not easy. Any other advice? Thanks for any help!

Betsy Asks: Could you set your Good Herbs out in the air to have the alcohol evaporate, then take your dose?

Millie here... Help! How do I overcome a lack of confidence in product dosing recommendations in order to share with others and become an affiliate? Some suggestions on the product containers seem to be light. Thank you for your help!
